A shoutout to all my friends who 👊 Graduate High School this year. For most of us 2025=45² is going to be the only perfect square year in our lifetime.The last occurrence of a square year was in 1936=44². 👉️ UK Biobank has launched the world’s most comprehensive study on the proteins circulating in our bodies, poised to transform the understanding of diseases and their treatments. This pioneering project aims to measure up to 5,400 proteins in each of 600,000 samples, including those from 500,000 UK Biobank participants and 100,000 follow-up samples taken up to 15 years later. The study will create an unparalleled database, enabling researchers to investigate how changes in protein levels throughout mid-to-late life affect disease development.Essentially, Proteomics is a key tool in understanding biology at a molecular level and is critical for advancing medical research, diagnostics, and therapeutic development. Key Highlights:

• The study will analyze 5,400 proteins across 600,000 samples, providing a groundbreaking understanding of how protein-level changes during mid-to-late life influence disease development.

• By integrating proteomic data with genomic and imaging datasets, the study will offer deeper insights into disease mechanisms and accelerate the development of personalized medicine.

• Supported by 14 biopharmaceutical companies, this collaborative initiative highlights the transformative role of proteomics in advancing diagnostics and therapeutic strategies.

👉️Came across this innovative idea- Otrivin, a leading nasal health brand under the global consumer health company Haleon, has introduced a groundbreaking clean air initiative called “Otrivin Pollution Capture Pencils.” Air pollution impacts neurodevelopment and cognitive ability and can trigger asthma and childhood cancer.This innovative project captures pollution by-products and transforms them into certified non-toxic pencils, which can then be used as instrument of change. 👉️ Students at Willms High School in Delmenhorst, Germany, had a unique visitor this week—a humanoid robot powered by AI. On December 17, just before Christmas, Captcha the Robot made its debut, leading a class for the first time in Delmenhorst. Captcha, was created by the Hong Kong-based start-up Hidoba Research and was brought to students to facilitate discussions about artificial intelligence. How cool is this !! Source-readwrite.com

💪 Meet Kaila Konda Niza- a Year 13 student at Dubai College with a strong commitment to leadership and social impact. As the founder of Impactful Insights DXB and Global Impact Society, she is dedicated to creating positive change within the community. 💪 The Emirates Soil Museum is a unique institution in the UAE and one of the few in the world focused specifically on soil science. The Museum opened on December 8, 2016, with support from the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development, which helped enhance the technology and both the interior and exterior exhibits. Since its opening, the museum has welcomed 3,000 visitors from diverse backgrounds. Here the museum’s curator explains how the museum breaks down complex soil science, making it more accessible and highlighting its essential role in our ecosystem.
