When it comes to academics, education, high school, and ultimately University, students share a common "War Cry."  Add a few projects, class evaluations, and entrance exams to the mix and for some, it may be sensory overload. For those who are not familiar with me- An IB student currently in GEMS Modern Academy-DP2 and over the last 2 years understood the rough workings about what you need to add to your student profile to apply to your dream university. Have stumbled, gotten back up, and realized how much can be learned by research and conversations.

For now I want to begin with just whats interesting from around the UAE campus. Let’s also see whats buzzing in & around other schools & University news from around the world. I would like this space to cover bite sized news about passion projects, charity drives, summer clubs, and more. The Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (DoH) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Illumina, a global leader in DNA sequencing and array-based technologies, to advance precision medicine and clinical genomics research. The partnership aims to develop the necessary expertise, infrastructure, and skilled workforce to integrate genomics into clinical practice and translational research. The MoU was signed during the BIO 2024 International Convention in the United States. The collaboration seeks to leverage Abu Dhabi’s genomic data to accelerate innovations in genomics and precision medicine, focusing on emerging genomic applications.  ^Source
