In Science | ‘Neffy’ Your needle free Option
Until now, epinephrine has only been available through an auto-injector pen –the EpiPen – which has caused barriers due to cost, shelf life, availability, and needles.Good news to many parents whose children suffer from food allergies and say their child has experienced a serious allergic reaction and didn’t use an epinephrine injection due to fear of the auto-injector, or needle. In Science | Inspiration Alert

#Maha#DubaiCollege
Meet Maha Nawaz, a student from #DubaiCollege who was recently named a Top 10 finalist for the #GlobalStudentPrize 2024 🏆. Maha aims to revolutionize assistive technology for individuals with disabilities through brain-computer interfaces and machine learning. Inspired by her brother Yousef, she developed two prosthetic prototypes: one controlled by Arduino for versatile hand grips and another using brainwave-reading algorithms for precise actions. She also volunteers with e-NABLE in her home country to provide 3D-printed hands and has shared her advocacy and personal insights in a TEDx talk.As Head of the Computer Science Society, Maha Nawaz dedicates five hours weekly to student workshops, guest speakers, and engineering kits. She introduced a mentor program covering 3D printing and C++ coding and led projects like a vending machine and a semiconductor model. Outside school, she organized a charity event for Nepalese schools and launched a school magazine and podcast to inspire curiosity. The list is limitless, and she has yet to break a sweat. DUBAI: The United Arab Emirates on Thursday announced the completion of the Arab world's first nuclear power plant, calling it a "significant step".
Calling all Tintin fans!! A reason to visit the #Lourve if you haven’t done so already. A replica of the Tintin moon rocket, which was launched to the International Space Station by Emirati astronaut Dr. Sultan Al Neyadi, (currently the Minister of State for Youth Affairs), has been unveiled at the Louvre Abu Dhabi. Presently on show is the larger rocket, which is borrowed from the Museum of Decorative Arts in Paris, next to the replica. (Source-Emiratitimes)

These brothers love to build stuff. “Our goal is to inspire kids to love Robotics by teaching them the basics in a fun and engaging way. We combine hands-on activities with kid-friendly explanations, emphasizing experimentation and enjoyment’ says Advaith currently in MYP 4. A huge shout out to these upcoming young entrepreneurs who have found their passion and want to educate others.
