Friends of Cancer Patients (FOCP) is bringing back its popular Pink Caravan program for a fun family activity ahead of Breast Cancer Awareness Month in November. The three-day event begins on October 4 at Aljada in Sharjah and will include free breast cancer tests and awareness sessions. Pink Caravan organizes a number of initiatives each year to raise breast cancer awareness.Cancer prevention, self-examination, and the value of frequent medical check-ups will all be covered in awareness programs.(Source- Khaleejtimes.com)

💬 A team of scientists from the United Kingdom's NHS Blood and Transplant (NHSBT) and the University of Bristol has discovered a new blood group, MAL, solving a 50-year-old mystery surrounding the AnWj blood group antigen 👇️
💬 Moving on to some more very good news in the field of research : In preliminary tests, #nanorobots 👇️ achieved a 70% reduction in tumor growth in mice with #breastcancer compared to those treated with an inactive version of the device. 👉️ Saudi-Makkah Launches Digital Tree-Planting Initiative via Nabatik Platform
The Makkah municipality has introduced an innovative online tree-planting initiative through the Nabatik platform. Residents can now choose their preferred tree species, select planting locations, and make payments online, enabling them to support local afforestation efforts from home. This initiative aims to enhance climate goals and increase the number of trees in Makkah and surrounding holy sites, while also documenting the community's environmental contributions. We could be one step closer to introducing a new element to the periodic table.The table presently includes 118 chemical elements. Each atom's nucleus contains a distinct number of protons. They range between one proton (in hydrogen) and 118 (in oganesson). Some of these components are found in nature. 💪 Next up: Kashinadh Pranesh, a motivated and ambitious 10th-grade student from GEMS Millenium School. His favorite subjects are Mathematics and Civics, as demonstrated by his 100% in Math last year and a perfect score in Asset: Maths. He has a keen interest in analyzing political landscapes, particularly upcoming elections. In addition to his academic pursuits, he enjoys swimming and has represented his school in CBSE Clusters. As an enthusiastic reader, he loves books like "The Ivory Throne," "Krishna Key," and "Ambedkar." Calling Anime fans!!
Fans may fully submerge themselves in the worlds of their favorite anime series at Animenia. Meeting some of the most recognizable anime characters including hit shows like Jujutsu Kaisen, Attack on Titan, Naruto, and Sanrio—along with a plethora of other international celebrities—will be among the Animenia festival's highlights! A TIP 👈️ If you are in Grade 11 or 12, dust off your résumé and contact the organizers. Find a "Volunteer" or "Get Involved" section on this amazing festival's linktree. This section (may) list available roles and requirements.This would look fantastic on your college profile. Registration desk help, crowd control, admin & vendor assistance are always among the possible roles. Be open to different tasks & roles.
