Unpacking Education One Post At A Time

The Weather Connection You Didn’t See Coming!

Deadline Approaching
The internet is overflowing with headlines about AI taking over every job — but here’s a little ray of sunshine for all the non-engineers and non-coders out there: the CNN Weather Internship :2026 🌦️. Yep, still a job for an actual human who can tell the difference between “partly cloudy” and “partly dry”.
This isn’t just about forecasting storms — it’s about storytelling, data, and technology all coming together. So if you’re a student who loves science, communication, or patterns— get Comfortable.
Today’s weather reporting is more than green screens and forecasts — it’s a blend of science, data, and storytelling. You don’t need a fancy lab; just curiosity and a good source like COMET MetEd, a free online great resource for newbies.
Honestly, I never imagined I’d be writing about opportunities in meteorology, atmospheric science, or environmental communication — but here we are. The more I look into it, the clearer it gets: If you know someone studying in these fields, pass this along — it might just spark their next big step.
What to know before applying:
Deadline to apply-November 9th
The duration of the program is 12 weeks
Program dates: Start Date: January 26th - End Date: April 17th 2026
